Powder-based TPU is a rubber-like material suitable for functional prototypes and wear-resistant parts.
Material details
Powder-based TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is a standard rubber-like, powder-based material. It is able to bend and twist like rubber (shore hardness 86-90A), but still demonstrates a high level of strength, heat resistance (90-130 °C), and exceptional shock absorption. This makes the material great for functional parts and prototypes with rubber-like properties used in industrial settings. The material is water-resistant but not waterproof and should not be in contact with water over extensive periods of time. The material is 3D printed on industrial grade 3D printers that offer the highest quality, using either Selective Laser Sintering or Multi Jet Fusion printing processes.
