Material details

Nylon PA12 (Polyamide) is a versatile material known for its high precision and cost-effectiveness. It exhibits a combination of strength and flexibility, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It can be used for both thin and thick parts, offering flexibility for springs and strength for functional components. Nylon PA12 is available in various colors and can be post-processed to achieve a polished and dyed surface finish. It is 3D printed using the Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) process on industrial-grade 3D printers. It is worth noting that PA12 absorbs less water compared to PA6, although PA6 is stronger than PA12.
